Blood Codes are special items you can find in Code Vein, the act as a sort of class system, unlocking new skills and abilities for you to use in combat. As such, they are incredibly valuable and really exciting to find. Check out the list of Blood Codes below for details on the locations of all Blood Codes we’ve discovered so far.

Code Vein Blood Code Locations Guide

Berserker Blood Code

The Berserker Blood Code is unlocked after you defeat the Oliver boss in the story.

Prometheus Blood Code

You unlock the Prometheus Blood Code after speaking with Louis during the start of the story, after you visit Home Base for the first time.

Hunter Blood Code

Found on the Ruined City Center map at the location I am standing above.

Assassins Blood Code

Found at the exact location I am standing in the image above in the Howling Pits

Mercury Blood Code

Obtained from Coco in Home Base after defeating two main bosses in the story.

Hermes Blood Code

Speak with Davis at the Home Base in the story. I had completed 4-5 areas.

Atlas Blood Code

Speak with Yakumo at the Home Base in the story. I had completed 4-5 areas.

Darkseeker Blood Code

Obtained after you encounter the hunter in Dried Up Trenches, after the boss battle.

Isis Blood Code

Right at the end of the Cathedral of Blood. After you clear the area and unlock the Vestige memory for the main character, return to the Cathedral and continue through to the end.

Eos Blood Code

After you complete the Cathedral of Blood fully, return and speak with Lo to get her Blood Code.

Artemis Blood Code

Speak with Mia Karnstein at the Home Base hub. I had just completed the Cathedral of Blood before I spoke with her.

Queenslayer Blood Code

After you complete a part of the main story, the main characters memory, you can’t miss it.

Queens Breath Blood Code

After you complete a part of the main story, where you defeat the Successor in the snow region.

Survivor Blood Code

Found at my location above, in the Ashen Cavern region.

Dark Knight Blood Code

After you defeat the final boss in the Ashen Cavern region.

Queens Claw Blood Code

Defeat the Successor of the Claw in the City of the Falling Flame

Harmonia Blood Code

Defeat the Successor of the Throat in the story.

Heimdall Blood Code

After the story event where Jack joins you at your Home Base.

Warrior Blood Code

On the Crypt Spire map. Proceed through the level until you reach a locked door and a lever. There’s another exit to the room that leads outside to a ladder. Climb up to find the Blood Code

Hephaestus Blood Code

Speak with Rin Murasame at Home Base. It’s near the end of the game, after you unlock the Crypt.

Ishtar Blood Code

Defeat the Queen Revenants Reborn boss in story.

Hades Blood Code

Concealing information to avoid ending spoiler. Complete the game.

After you find your first Dark Depths map, you can speak with Davis. He explains the basics, challenging dungeons filled with fantastic rewards. Each time you discover a new map, speak with Davis and he will allow you to access the new Dark Depths area as shown in the map.

Dark Depths Maps #1 - Den Of Darkness

You can find this map here in the Ruined City Underground

Dark Depth Maps #2 - Den of the Dead

Found at this location. You access it from the Outer Crossroads. Take the long path to the South, following the stairs down.

Dark Depth Maps #3 - Town Of Sacrifice

Found at this area on the Dried-Up Trenches

Dark Depth Maps #4 - Flood Of Impurity

Sorry, there was no map in this area. Follow the main story until you’re told to find the special statue. Once you find and activate the statue, follow the cave through to the end. As you climb to the top of the ladder, turn around. The map is in the corner.

Dark Depth Maps #5 - Misty Ruins

Found at this location on the Crypt Spire map. It’s near the start but it’s up a level so you cannot reach it at the beginning. Proceed through towards the end of the level. Near the end you will reach a path that leads ahead to a locked door and a lever, and a walkway to the right that’s open. Take that walkway to the end.

When you reach this point, that’s when you take the right path.

Dark Depth Maps #6 - Zero District

Immediately after you defeat the Queen Revenants Reborn boss in story. Follow the path ahead, down the ladder, can’t miss it.

Old World Materials are a special and rare item that can be obtained in a variety of ways. The Dark Depths is arguably one of the most reliable ways to farm, Lost invasions also occasionally provide the odd Old World Material drop and finally, some normal enemies can drop them in regular combat.

Where To Find Crypt Doors For Successors In Code Vein

So once you’ve got your stock of Old World Materials, what do you do with them? You can trade them with a specific NPC in exchange for Valuables, gifts that you can offer to your allies in the Home Base in exchange for a variety of perks and items.

The Ruined City Underground is one of the earlier maps of the game. You must complete the entire area so you clear it of the Miasma. Once you complete each region in Code Vein, the Miasma is lifted, allowing other Revenants to explore the region. Once you have completed the Ruined City Underground, travel to the Outer Crossroads.

There will be a new NPC in the area, Shang, right next to the teleport location. Speak with Shang. Here you can trade Old World Materials with Shang in exchange for Valuables.

It’s likely that you will first encounter one of these special doors in the Cathedral of the Blood Stained region. Initially it appears to be the door that leads to the boss of the area but as you continue on your adventure, you learn that they have a much more important role to play.

How To Open Winged Doors In Code Vein

These unique doors are an integral part of the story. Within each lies a Successor, a human sacrifice that has helped to lock away part the dreaded Queen via special artifacts. You need to enter this Crypt areas and complete each one as part of the story progression.

You cannot interact, open or otherwise do anything with these doors until you reach the appropriate point in the story. To avoid spoilers, it’s in the Cathedral of the Sacred Blood area. Once you reach the end, when you get the Visage memory for the main character, continue past that point, after the boss. There’s more to explore. Eventually you will reach the cathedrals entrance, it is shortly after this that you learn the ability to unlock these doors.

In order to progress with the story, you must find a special statue. This guide explains Where To Find The Statue In Code Vein so you can progress through the main story by accessing a brand new area once you’ve discovered the statue and activated it.

During a cut-scene you’re told to find a hidden statue in the Ruined City Center. You need to fast travel to the Park, this is where you will find the statue you need to locate in order to continue through the story into a new area.

Where To Find The Statue In Code Vein

Just North of the fast travel location at The Park, there is a ladder. You can either climb or drop down, you won’t take damage. You will see the statue a short distance ahead of you. Interact with the statue and it will lower a nearby ladder.

Climb the ladder and follow the cave through to the new area. Don’t forget to grab the Dark Depth Map on the way.

The Howling Pit is a region in Code Vein that can be a little rough to explore at first. You must make your way through the area, lighting large fires as you progress, slowing increasing your visibility and your ability to navigate this terrain. Towards the end of the area, you’ll discover a locked gate with the message “Requires Eagle Key”.

Where To Find The Eagle Key In Code Vein

Thankfully, the Eagle Key is really close to the door that requires it. A short distance away, exactly where I am standing on the map image above, there’s an item on the floor. You simply pick it up. However, it’s not quite that simple, yet.

There’s a dangerous enemy that you need to defeat first. He has an arsenal of lightning attacks and a huge range on his charge ability. It’s best to use high stagger weapons or gifts to keep him down while you destroy his remaining HP.

How To Play With Friends In Code Vein

There are a number of restrictions to both sending and responding to distress signals. In the in-game menu, navigate to the help options and scroll to the bottom. Here you will find a list of things that will restrict your ability to either ask for players to join, or join other players yourself.

How To Play With Friends In Code Vein

This is the best setup we found for playing co-op with your friends. Simply change the settings to something similar above. Make sure your region is your actual region, turn all restrictions to off and then make sure both you and your friend use an identical password.

The Warmind, Osiris, Forsaken, and the Red War Campaigns are still in Destiny 2. This guide explains How To Start Original Destiny 2 Campaigns (Legacy) In Shadowkeep so all of the new players joining the free-to-play launch of Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, can explore the games origins in previous expansions content.

New and old players alike are automatically boosted to Light Level 750 in Shadowkeep. This allows all players to immediately begin exploring the latest content. However, many players are looking to experience Destiny 2’s older expansions and content including The Curse of Osiris and The Forsaken.

How To Start Original Destiny 2 Campaigns (Legacy) In Shadowkeep

Luckily, it’s very simple. Head to The Tower, the main social hub within Destiny 2 and head to the far East of the area. You need to speak with Amanda Holiday, the Shipwright. When you speak with her you can collect special Campaign items.

Once you collect any of these items, a quest appears in your log. From there, simply follow the quest line. This features the full campaign from the chosen expansion. The Forsaken is a little different, as there is no campaign item for that.

The rest of the expansions are free but you must own Forsaken to partake in the campaign. To do the Forsaken campaign, select The Tangled Shore on the Galaxy Map and then select the large purple icon on the bottom of the screen.

Seen the message the Trove Guardian has fallen, a new pathway has opened? This Destiny 2: Shadowkeep Trove Guardian Guide will explain the mechanics surrounding the Trove Guardian so you can find the newly opened path and in the process, nab yourself some potentially good loot – or not – it’s Destiny.

The Trove Guardian is a special enemy that can spawn on the Moon, there may be more than one but so far, we’ve just discovered a single Trove Guardian. We will, of course, update the guide should be discover more Trove Guardian spawns.

Destiny 2: Shadowkeep Trove Guardian Guide

They do have a decent amount of HP and can be tough to take down solo, however, it’s not impossible. Once you’ve taken down a Trove Guardian, the following message appears on the screen: “the Trove Guardian has fallen, a new pathway has opened”. This is a cue to inform you of a nearby path that was previously unavailable, has appeared. Below is the spawn location of the first Trove Guardian we discovered, and where you can find the hidden path.

Bounties rotate on a weekly basis and a new random bounty option has been added to most characters that offer bounties. One specific bounty, that is not part of the random pool, is on The Moon and it asks you to locate the K1 Logistics Lost Sector and defeat 7 Nightmares within.

To complete the Essence of Vanity, you must finish the Horned Wreath Found objective. The first two objectives are easy enough to understand but if you want to find the Horned Wreath, you need to travel to the Hellmouth area on The Moon. You’ll see a large doorway, enter the doorway.

Once inside, take a left down the stairs. You must follow the path all the way to the end. It’s a very long dungeon, lots of rooms, tons of enemies. It will probably take you an hour or two to fight through it, but you can just run through and avoid it as long as you’re not too low a Light Level. At the very end of the dungeon there is a large room, a single Ogre stands at the back. As you approach, the Horned Wreath quest icon will appear on screen. Follow it to grab the item.

When exploring The Moon you may find special chests covered in three symbols. This guide explains How To Open Chests With Symbols In Destiny 2: Shadowkeep as it’s not locked behind progression or any other mechanic, they are small puzzles that can be solved with nothing more than your wit, and, well, you need a gun too.

These unique chests can be found in many different places, but the solution to the chests is always the same. You know you have located one of the special chests marked with symbols when the front of the chest has 3 unique symbol designs in full view.

How To Open Chests With Symbols In Destiny 2: Shadowkeep

As you can see, I discovered one of these next to one of the Public Events on The Moon. It’s not always there, the spawns vary as with any other chest in Destiny 2. However, the puzzles and the solutions are the same. Pay close attention to the front of the chest. You will need to remember the order of the symbols. Once you have remembered the order, search nearby. There will be 3 symbols matching the symbols on the chest.

As you can see here, I found two symbols sitting outside the area with the chest. Very close, within 10-15ft. I still needed to find the third one.

The last symbol for this particular chest with symbols is inside the pipe-like structure, on the ceiling.

Once you have found all of the symbols, the rest is easy. Shoot them in order that they appear on the front of the chest, from left to right. Shoot the symbols until they start spewing out green smoke. Once you have shot all three in the correct order, you can open the chest.

The Essence of Brutality is a story-related Essence. In order to unlock it, you must first enter the Pyramid after obtaining three pieces of the dream armor. How To Do Finishers In Destiny 2 Shadowkeep

In order to interact with the bunnies, you will need a item called Rice Cakes. These items are rare, like very rare. I only found two in about the 10 hours I was playing. The first one was found in the Moon resource Helium Filaments and that was the first one I found. The second one I got from an event chest after we won. It was a heroic chest, but I don’t know if that matters. when you have the Rice Cake, you will have to then find the rabbits and hand them over. There are nine total and in theory there should be a reward for getting all nine. I only have two at the moment so I cannot confirm it one way or another.

You need to find the Bound Manacle for the Essence of Insanity quest. This guide tells you Where To Find Bound Manacle In Destiny 2 so you can locate this mysterious item, complete the quest, and receive your reward of the powerful Love and Death Grenade Launcher weapon.

Unlike most of the previous Essence items, the Insanity Essence doesn’t appear to drop from random enemies. Instead, it’s a potential reward you can receive when you complete one of the three Nightmare Hunts after you have finished the main story of Shadowkeep. Once you have the quest, you must complete the following objectives:

Head to this location in Hellmouth on the Moon. There’s a large passageway lit green. Head inside and take a left. Then follow the path deeper into the area until you reach The Gatehouse. Once you reach The Gatehouse keep progressing until you see this room.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is both a third-person and first-person action title. As such, the perspective is that of either of those options. In third-person its sitting slightly behind and to the side of your character. It’s default resting perspective is to sit on the left, leaving more room on the right for your reticle and aim.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint features 4 unique classes. Assault, Sharpshooter, Panther, and Field Medic. Each class fulfills a different role on the battlefield. Assault, as the name implies, specializes in mid-range combat using assault rifles and explosives. The Sharpshooter focuses on long-range engagements, while the Panther prefers a stealthier approach to missions. Lastly, the Field Medic acts as a support unit with heals and various buffs.

How To Change Class In Breakpoint

When you unlock a base class, you unlock the base abilities. For example, Panther has a Smoke Screen, can become undetectable to drones, and has various class proficiency abilities. This class is better suited when attacking a heavily defended stronghold with multiple drones. However, if you’re looking for a more open engagement, the Assault class may be a better option.

Biovuac’s in Breakpoint act as fast travel locations and camps for you and your fellow ghosts. This Ghost Recon Breakpoint Biovuac Guide breaks down the Biovuac system as well as providing tips on how you can fill out your map with fast travel points quickly and efficiently.

The primary function of a Biovuac is to act as a fast travel point that you can use to quickly get around the game world. You do not have to physically use a Biovuac in order to unlock its fast travel capabilities, you must simple “discover” it on the map. As you are exploring Ghost Recon Breakpoint’s world, look for the high smoke plumes coming from the ground, these represent Biovuac locations. If you are using a helicopter for transport, you can hover above (about 120m) a Biovuac location and unlock it from the air – without ever having to land.

There are other functions of a Biovuac that you may find useful. We’ll break these features down below.

Preparations
Preparations are a great way to get an edge in battle. You can select from a variety of buffs, usually lasting 60 minutes. There are other buffs and items you can get to increase the duration and potency of these buffs.

Tactics
This lets you change your class. For example, if you have both Assault and Panther unlocked, you can switch between the two classes here.

Craft
Here you can craft rations, healing kits, and other useful items if you have the materials.

Shop
You can buy and sell weapons, gear, customization options, and other items at the shop.

Garage
This allows you and anyone on your team to summon a vehicle. The last vehicle chosen before you break camp, appears at a nearby location.

Change Game Time
When you choose to break camp, you can select the time of day. This is useful for nighttime ambushes or delicate missions.
