5 Tips For Bounty Hunters In Red Dead Online
The Frontier Pursuits update for Red Dead Online introduced exciting new activities for players to discover, including Bounty Hunters. Rockstar recently released some tips on this deadly new profession and as we’ve rounded up our 5 Tips For Bounty Hunters In Red Dead Online.

Before you’re able to take advantage of Rockstar’s list of tips and tricks, you’ll first need to unlock Bounty Hunter. It’s a simple process, just look for the “A License for Bounty Hunting” objective on your in-game map and follow the story to unlock the Bounty Hunter.

5 Tips For Bounty Hunters In Red Dead Online

Bounty Hunter is arguably more challenging than the other professions introduced in Frontier Pursuits. While each profession has its own challenge, Bounty Hunter is tracking and combat focused, which relies heavily on the players ability to take down difficult target throughout the game world.

If you’re a veteran of the Red Dead Online experience, it’s likely you’ve explored every nook and cranny you’ve encountered. The world is filled with exciting opportunities and discoveries to be made, but as you return to the frontier as a Bounty Hunter, don’t ignore your urge to explore. With the introduction of Bounty Hunter, Collector, and Trade, there’s a host of new stuff to discover, this is especially true with the Collector.

While the role may not appeal to you directly, there are many Collectibles that you can find in and around the Bounty Hunter targets. If you’re already in a region to take down an infamous target, why not grab yourself some goodies at the same time? Be sure to loot all of the bodies after you wipe out enemies in a Bounty Mission, there’s plenty of Collectibles, Treasure Maps, and other items to find.

As with all things in Red Dead Online, killing stuff is better with friends. It drastically increases your chances of success and also provides various bonuses. One such bonus is increased Experience Points for you and your Posse members. Bring your friends, take down challenging targets, and all grow your characters together.

Sometimes when you’re partaking in the enjoyable pastime of killing or capturing wanted targets, they bring friends. While it’s not simple, you can bring back two different Bounty Targets at the same time. Throw one on the back of your horse and lasso the other, dragging them behind for the duration of the journey. Just watch out for rocks, and cliff edges, and boulders, and wildlife, and, well, just be careful.

Progression and rewards are a central focus for the Frontier Pursuits update. As such, the longer you spend hunting targets, the more lucrative your rewards become. As you increase in level by completing Bounty Hunter missions, more challenging Bounty Hunter missions become available. Even if you’re in the middle of another task, be sure to check the Bounty Board often. The higher level bounty, the greater the reward.

Tracking down and taking out wanted targets is great. More rewards, even better, but let’s be honest. The Bounty Hunter pursuit is all about Gun Spinning – a special ability you can unlock that allows you to perform tricks with your weapons. Don’t forget to use these often as they make you look like a bad ass. No other effects, but that’s not a problem.

5 Tips For Traders In Red Dead Online
Trading, Collecting, and Bounty Hunting are just some of the exciting new features introduced with the Frontier Pursuits update. We’ve gathered 5 Tips For Traders In Red Dead Online from Rockstar Games to help you on your journey to becoming the ultimate trader.

Bounty Hunting and Collecting are both exciting but rather simple pastimes in Red Dead Online. The Trader however, is more of a thinking game. Managing the risk vs reward of high stakes, long distance deliveries, managing supplies to maximize profits.

5 Tips For Traders In Red Dead Online

Sometimes it’s all too easy to simple purchase Supplies and get on with your day. It’s convenient, fast, and fail-proof. However, if you’re looking to minimize expenditure and maximize income, it’s not the optimal method when running as a Trader. Instead of spending your own hard earned cash on picking up Supplies, run some few Resupply Missions. You’ll get your supplies and some Trader Experience Points to boot.

Everyone’s favorite cowboy, JB Cripps, is a huge fan of the Traders way of life, but even he can be a little picky. Turning in various animal parts is a great way of earning points towards your Trader progression, but there’s a better way. Instead of delivering individual parts of animals to Cripps, bring in an untouched 3-Star animal. It’s worth much more overall.

While the rest of Red Dead Online’s world is busy carrying loot via simple horse travel, those peasants don’t understand the lucrative opportunities the Trader brings to the table. Once you reach Rank 5 Trader, be sure to pick up the Medium Deliver Wagon, and the Large Delivery Wagon at Rank 10. These allow for much bigger hauls.

When you’re hunting far from home, you’ll want to bring back the most lucrative bounty possible. Red Dead Online’s horse and travel system allows you to carry multiple carcasses and skins. Make sure you use all of the different spots on your saddle but don’t push it too far, the bigger the haul, the bigger the loss.

Managing the risk vs reward of the long-distance trading options available is an exciting part of the Traders progression route. However, Rockstar Games highlighted an alternative method using Defensive Mode to make shorter deliveries while avoiding any potential interference from unwanted forces.

5 Tips For Traders In Red Dead Online
While Bounty Hunters take down infamous characters and traders are busy buying and selling, Collectors are out there getting dirty. Rockstar Games have lined up a list of tips and tricks for the enterprising Collectors of the Red Dead Online universe.

While the appeal of Bounty Hunting and Trading is strong, the challenge of the role of Collector is one without rival. The satisfaction of hunting down and finding rare and lucrative valuables is as intriguing as it is rewarding.

5 Tips For Collectors In Red Dead Online

Tracking down items via maps and other means can sometimes be a simple process, but other times it can be frustrating and lengthy. If you’re struggling to find a particular Collectible from the weekly list, check out some of your favorite YouTube creators. There’s some fantastic, quick, and informative videos that will take you right where you need to go.

Much like the Trader, Collectors can maximize their income with a little patience. You can trade individual Collector items to Madam Nazar for some decent cash but if you want to maximize your profits, trade entire sets at the same time.

Other than Eagle Eye and Collector Maps, be sure to search the bodies of those poor, unfortunate souls, that crossed your path. While only a small chance, there’s a chance that enemies drop special Collector items so be sure to loot their corpses. This is especially true in Bounty Hunter missions, so it may be a good idea to dabble in both professions to maximize your chances of tracking down those rare and valuable Collector items.

The life of a Collector can be an expensive pastime. Tracking down Collectibles is often best done via special maps that you can purchase, however, there are other methods. Don’t ignore your Eagle Eye vision, it’s a basic feature we’re all familiar with, but often overlook. It can locate Collectible items in a nearby area.

Madam Nazar plays a vital role in your life as a Collector. She has a unique shop used in various aspects of Collecting but she’s a travelling trader. This means, well, she travels, and she travels a lot. She’s never in the same place for long, moving to new locations each day. You can find hints of her location in game, as announcements over a gramophone are made if you’re nearby. However, a much more reliable alternative is to have a quick search on YouTube. There’s plenty of creators uploading her location on a daily basis.

Finally, once you’ve completed your Weekly Collection, you can mail the items directly to Madam Nazar, saving the hassle of finding her location.

If you pre-ordered The Surge 2 then you might be wondering where your URBN DLC items are. Check out this guide to find out where to find the URBN DLC items in The Surge 2. The armor set might look a bit goofy, but it’s very powerful.

Where To Find The URBN DLC Items In The Surge 2

The armor set and weapon for the URBN DLC pack is a few hours into the game. I got it after I went to the Port area for the first time. In order to find the armor and weapon, you actually have to kill some enemies and craft it yourself. Head to the doctors clinic near the police check point. You might be able to run through and find the DLC items at a low level, but they take alot of energy to equip. Fight your way through the check point and then take the lift on the right side. Take the next lift down and continue to the street below. Cross the street and take the stairs up to the bridge above you. Cross the bridge and follow the path to the right until you find another elevator on the left. Don’t take it, but instead take the stairs into the alley near it. As you progress you will see a large pink armor unit with a lightning axe waiting, don’t engage yet. Follow the alley to the end and open the shortcut door to the Medbay. This way you can die and come back easily.

There are two here, one is up the metal stairs and one is down the alley. Once you engage with either they will both fight you. If you have 20 bullets with your drone then I recommend using them all on the guy down the alley at the start of the fight. The head is pretty weak so focus on that with the drone. This will trigger both of them to fight you so get ready to block and dodge. Run back towards the healing point and this should separate them, fighting them alone is the best strategy here. You want to keep your distance because they do a jump attack and a slide attack that is easy to block. If you are up close they do crazy combos that will take you out quickly. Kill the first one and then use the length of the alleyway to kill the second one. This armor set is actually pretty powerful, so build it ASAP.

Where To Find The Force Hook In The Surge 2

In order to get the Force Hook, you will first have to get to Gateway Bravo. Gateway Bravo is a hub area with some NPCs and a few side quests. It connects to AID Command Center which is where we are looking to go. Fight your way to the Family Waiting Area gate and kill any enemies in that area. If you look around you will see that is a piece of the wall for a building is missing. Go in there and drop down the hole to enter the Hospital. Kill all the enemies in that area and follow the path to where they were watching the kids. From there, follow the path further and climb the steps until you find a scientist and some AID soldiers. The Force Hook is up on the top of the area, you need it to get back down easily. When you return to the bottom a man will ask you for a Force Hook. Hand it over to him and you get a cool Chainsaw weapon, but you have to go back and get another hook. If you didn’t respawn the enemies this will be easy, if you did then good luck.

When you have the Force Hook, you need to use it to get to the AID Command boss. The boss is in a Mech and is called Ezra Shields. Once you defeat the boss something happens to the world and you are tossed into the Underground. Fight your way through the Underground until you get back to the CREO Tech Institute. You are tasked with talking to the Scientist down in the lab again, but another boss has plans. Kill the boss in the CREA Institute and progress down into the lab. During your playthrough of The Surge 2, you will run into a few side quests you can do. Some of these are easy to complete, and others have hidden objectives. Check out this The Surge 2 Side Quest guide to complete them all.

The Surge 2 Side Quest Guide

Behind Bars
This is the first side quest you will get and you get it as you are escaping the prison. Benjamin will ask for your help escaping and if you free him, he will meet you at the Gateway Bravo evac camp. The camp is deeper into the game so don’t stress about it right away. I got there right around level 30. When you do make it to Gateway Bravo, Benji will be waiting by the medical tent to repay you for your help. He gives you a couple items worth 10k scrap.
The Witness
The Witness starts off pretty early, but continues for awhile. When you get down to the first med station outside of the Police department, a guy will give you some materials to upgrade your gear. When you are done upgrading he will disappear for awhile. You can find him again after you get the EMP Starfish drone. When you have the EMP Drone, head back to the first healing station where you found him originally. Work your way back to the river and go to where the guy is standing in front of the flaming barrel. If you look at the railing along the road, you can see one piece is missing where you can drop off. Drop off and fall below, killing the punk down there. Use the EMP to open the door down there and inside you will find the hunter. He will ask you to bring him some AID gear, which you will have to craft yourself. Kill the enemies at the security checkpoints for the gear. Sell it to him, he will head off, and you can loot the chest. This isn’t the last time we will see him.

You can find him again near where you get the Force Hook. He will be at a locked door and say he needs you to find a keycard to open it up. The scientist who was protected the force hook for me had the key. Talk to him and tell him you have the key and then open the door. You will get to find out what happened and Warren will tell you to meet him in his hideout later. You can find him again after the city goes to hell, after you beat the AID Command area boss.

When you see him again he will ask you to help him get a repeller so he can escape the city. You have to go back into the jail and go to where you faced off with the Warden. There will be a few guys here using it as protection. Go up stairs and jump the gap to the other side. Flip the switch and the guys down below will die and you will get the repeller, watch out for the Nano beasts.

Private Practice

This quest is found from a doctor near one of the police checkpoints in Sanitation Alley. He will ask you to retrieve the cargo that his drone had before it was shot down. The drone is through the check point, so you will either have to run or fight. Go through the main gate and quickly hook a right to the grav lift. Take it up and then go up the stairs and take the next lift down. There is a burning drone down here and that is what you are looking for. Grab it and return to the doc to finish the quest.

A Simple Favor

While you are at the Seaside Court, the woman vendor will ask you for help dealing with a Loan Shark. A man named Finn has exploited poor Molly and she can’t pay him back. That’s how she tells it atleast. You can find the Loanshark near the Iron Comic Store, just past the back alleys. Go up the stairs past the Iron Comic Store and take a quick right onto the skinny ledge near the stairs. Follow it around and you will find Finn. You can either pay him 2k scrap or kill him. I didn’t quite believe Molly so I paid him to see if I could get the truth later.

I ended up killing the Loan Shark later in the game but it didn’t change anything for me and Molly.

Aprils Fool
The Drone Vendor in the Seaside Court will give you this quest if you take the rose from behind his kiosk. He wants you to find out what happened to his girlfriend April. You will have to beat the boss Little Johnny and get the EMP Drone before you can complete the quest. Right after beating Little Johnny, exit the area through the new exit and follow the path until you have to take an elevator down. There is a EMP door down there and that the audio log you are looking for. When you return to Rex you can tell him what happened or lie and say you have no idea. I chose to tell him the truth and he sets off to rescue her from The Spark. If you lie he might stick around, I am not 100% sure though.
Delicatseen
This quest is found in the Port Nixon, in the back alley. There is a door that you can rip open with your suit and inside is a woman. Penny will ask you to bring her a spare part for her freezer. She says destroying the robots in Port Nixon should do the trick. I killed a Drone that some bandit put out and got what I needed. When you return to her she will give you a reward in her freezer. Run to the end, break the box, and escape before you get grinded up. When you return you will have to fight with Penny. If you lose and return you will get her keycard and free her hostage, who says she will stay there for now. If you leave the area and come back the woman that you saved will sell the items Penny did before she left.
Tag Attack
This quest is found at the End Of The World Party. Speak to the DJ and he will tell you to spray each area of the map with the resistance marker. You have to spray the City Center, Port Nixon, Gideon’s Rock, AID Command, The Underground, and the Powerplant. Each time you complete one you can return to him for some scrap.
Fools Errand

Another quest you can find at the End Of The World Party. Talk to the man in the white camo hoddie at the bench. He will ask you to find out what happened to the children at the AID center. The AID command center is past Gateway Bravo, which is deeper in the game (level 35-40ish area). When you get toe Gateway Bravo, enter the AID command area and fight your way to the Family Waiting Area gate. Inside of here there are some robot and AID soldiers you need to kill. From there, look around until you see part of a wall missing on a building and enter there. This will lead you to the hospital and to the audio log you need. Drop down, take the lift, and at the top go right instead of left to find the log.

Carnal Pleasures
Another quest you can find at the End Of The World Party. Talk to Yoko at the party and she will ask for a drink. Go to the bar and bring the Sparkletini back to her. She will then ask for some meat from Pennys place in Port Nixon. Assuming you’ve already done that side quest you might already have the meat. If not, head to Port Nixon and to the back alley to find Penny’s place. Return with the meat and you will be rewarded with scrap.
Golden Opportunity
This quest is from the Bartender at the End Of The World Party. He wants you to craft him a full set of Gaia gear. He says you can get it from the robots in Gideon’s Rock. The robots look like statues at first but come to life as you approach. When you take a limb they still live, so be ready. The hardest part to get for me was the head. I had to use my drone to remove all the armor on the head and then rip it off. When you complete the set, sell it to the bar tender and he will reward you with a nano heavy weapon.
Garden Variety

You can find this quest from a robot in Gideon’s Rock, near the entrance to the CREO lab. Speak to the robot and ask him if he wants you to help him plant flowers. You need to find five lost seeds in the area and plant them. The first one is right near the robot, slightly out of the garden. For the second seed, head back to the entrance of the CREO institute of technology and follow the path back into the forest. Down the stairs you will see a cougar statue. Go around that and drop down the hole for the second seed. Follow the path from there back up into the forest and cross over to the next cougar sign. Kill the hunters there and grab the seed in the area.

The next two are found near the Mustang Trail repeller tower. From the tower, go through the pine trees until you see a switch you can hit to extend a bridge. Hit the switch, cross over, and grab the seed. Now head back across the bridge and take the trail up on the left. Follow it through and then take a left and stay on the left, there is a little gap you need to through. One the other side of the gap you will find your last seed. Now you just need to return and plant them all to complete the quest.

Time Is Of The Essence

This quest is found at the Gateway Bravo camp. Go to the medical tent and speak with the doctor there. She tells you the ones in the other room have been affects by radiation poison and she needs meds. You can find the meds past the big family check point in the AID Command area. There are two medical tents and one of them has the meds next to a dead body. Your reward is some scrap and some mod upgrade parts.

The Incredible Iron Maus
You can find this quest at the Cloud 9 party after the city goes to hell. Approach Baxter and he will tell you to meet him at the power plant.
Gone Missing
I’m not sure if you can get this at the Cloud 9 party or not, I got it when I found the people the officer was supposed to save. After the world goes to hell, post AID Command boss fight, go back to where you found the downed drone for the doctor. There is going to be a boss here and once you beat him, two humans escape and thank you for your help. Talk to them and they will reveal that some officer was supposed to be escorting them.

In order to get the EMP 44 Starfish, you will first have to make it to Port Nixon. This is the area you will get to right after you enter Jericho City. From there you will have to make it all the way to the end, to Little Johnny. Beating Little Johnny is how you get the EMP 44 Starfish drone. He isn’t easy because you have to break 5 of his fuel tanks. I started with the ones one his mouth area first because they were harder to hit. My thought was, if I can’t break those then it won’t matter if I can break the leg ones. If you are close enough you can also trigger some of his blockable attacks, which will help your with battery life. His weakness is Nano weapons if you have any of those. Keep up the fight and eventually you will bring him down.
