Once you progress a few missions into the main story of Overkill’s The Walking Dead, you will unlock your first Hub upgrade in your camp. Once you have the level 1 Hub upgrade, you are able to participate in Survivor Missions. These are special missions where you send out survivors you’ve rescued to complete a variety of objectives in return for materials, weapon mods or new guns.
Overkill’s The Walking Dead Survivors Missions Guide
You can find the Survivor Missions on the Survivors tab of the main menu. On this menu you can select Missions, Work Stations and Survivors. If you have Survivors on Work Stations, they provide you passive buffs, but they cannot be sent out on Survivor Missions.
New Survivor Missions are added to your camp on a daily basis. So it’s best to keep your Survivors working on the Work Stations until you have missions available. Once you have missions available, you’ll want to send your best survivors to ensure victory as failure can mean injury, or even death.
When you highlight a mission, you will be shown some vital information. The mission level, experience points rewards, turns to complete and potential hazards. In the image above you can see I am looking at the mission, Gone Fishing. This is a level 9 mission that requires a Tactician, a Support and a Scout. Even with these classes available, any of them under level 9 are almost certainly going to die. Make sure when you are preparing to send a team out, that their chance for success is at least 85%. This reduces the chances of your survivors becoming injured or getting killed.
Make sure to only select missions equal or below the level of the survivors you are sending. Make sure to send 1 of each of the classes suggested and always check back daily for new survivor missions.
